Cranston, RI Carpionato Group has added five new food concepts to Chapel View. With these soon to open additions, Carpionato continues curating Chapel View into one of Rhode Island’s premier destination experiences. Chapel View offers a mix of retail, dining, office, and residential space — creating a “Live-Work-Play” environment that attracts residents, visitors, and businesses alike.

“As we welcome these new food concepts, our focus is on thoughtfully elevating the experience for residents, visitors and tenants,” said Kelly Coates, president and CEO of Carpionato Group. “Guided by the vision of our founder, the late Alfred Carpionato, we remain committed to ensuring Chapel View grows as a vibrant, community-focused destination.”
The five new food establishments set to open in Chapel View in early 2026 include:
• Applebee’s — Relocating from Garden City following last year’s fire, Applebee’s will open a new 5,800 s/f restaurant in the former Orangetheory/Hair Cuttery/Warhammer space. Warhammer has relocated within Chapel View to Building 2000 and recently debuted an updated store.
• CAVA — The fast-casual Mediterranean chain known for customizable bowls.
• Nothing Bundt Cakes — One of the nation’s largest cake companies, offering its signature handcrafted Bundt Cakes, Bundtlets, and Bundtinis.
• Ugly Dumpling — Opening its first Rhode Island location, bringing Shanghai street-style cuisine to Chapel View.
• Wonder — A virtual food-hall concept operating multiple brands from a single kitchen; this will be Wonder’s second Rhode Island location.

These openings bring the number of new food concepts at Chapel View to seven in just over a year.
Recent additions have further strengthened the center’s appeal. Circe Prime, an upscale Italian steakhouse, opened in May in the former Chapel Grille space. Crumbl launched its cookie shop in February. California Closets unveiled a new Rhode Island showroom, and Prime IV Hydration & Wellness introduced IV therapy and rejuvenation services, expanding the center’s lifestyle offerings.
Chapel View’s professional district is also growing, with Affinity Risk Solutions and Integrated Financial Partners joining the business community.
With momentum across dining, retail, and professional services, Chapel View remains one of Southern New England’s most vibrant and thoughtfully curated mixed-use destinations.
