CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — It turns out Applebee’s isn’t the only eatery that plans on moving into Chapel View.

The Carpionato Group announced Monday afternoon that four new food concepts will be coming to Chapel View next year.

Those new food concepts include CAVA, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Ugly Dumpling and Wonder:

  • CAVA offers Mediterranean-style bowls and pitas. This will be CAVA’s third Rhode Island location, with the other two being in Smithfield and Warwick.
  • Nothing Bundt Cakes sells handcrafted specialty Bundt cakes. This will be the national chain’s first Rhode Island location.
  • Ugly Dumpling sells Shanghai-style street food. This will be its first Rhode Island location.
  • Wonder is a virtual food hall that offers several brands from a single kitchen. This will be Wonder’s second Rhode Island location, with the other being in East Providence.

The new eateries are expected to open in “early 2026,” according to the Carpionato Group.

Applebee’s will also be moving into Chapel View next year after a fire tore through the original Garden City Center restaurant back in December 2024.

Other recent additions to Chapel View’s food scene include Circe Prime, a high-end steakhouse that replaced Chapel Grille last spring, and the state’s third Crumbl location, which opened back in February.
