CRANSTON, R.I. (WJAR) — A new food hall concept opened in Cranston brings more than 20 restaurant offerings under one roof.

Wonder has opened a location at Chapel View, bringing more than 50 different menu items.

“Anybody in your family could order anything they’d like, either picked up here in-house or delivered to their door,” said Pat Cartier of Wonder.

Inside, customers can choose from a wide mix of options, from burgers and pizza to salads and chef-driven meals.

Brands include concepts like Limesalt for build-your-own burritos and Alonza Pizza, along with premium offerings such as steak from celebrity chef Bobby Flay.

All the food is prepared on-site and officials say it is often delivered in under 30 minutes.

Behind the scenes, staff are trained to execute dishes across multiple cuisines. To manage the variety offered, the food spot opts for a smaller dining hall and bigger kitchen space.

“We call them infinite, kitchen centers, we actually have a large conveyor belt to our kitchens are extremely large, which allows us to have many different stations,” said Cartier.

While the food is made in-house, the operation still leans on a fast-casual model, with prep work done ahead of time to keep service moving quickly.

Customers can order in-store, at kiosks, or through the Wonder app.
